Volan is reached through a hidden gate from the Volanen enclave on Orbos, but the world itself feels far older than that route alone. Recovered murals, hidden tunnels, workshops, meditation chambers, memory units, and orb sites present Volan as a layered world of floating landmasses above a watery surface, where Ayoshen-linked facilities still respond to keor and open routes across otherwise impossible gaps. Volan matters first as the ancestral home of the Volanen, the place they lost when a great evil forced them through a gate to safety.
